Terms of Service

Welcome to The Link Label. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at thelinklabel.com and all services offered by The Link Label, LLC, including podcast studio bookings, production services, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing our website or booking a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or Services.

1. Use of the Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the site. You must not use the site to transmit any unsolicited commercial communications, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, or engage in any conduct that is harmful, fraudulent, or offensive.

The content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and audio/video material, is owned by or licensed to The Link Label and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

2. Studio Bookings

All studio bookings are subject to availability and must be completed through our booking platform (currently powered by Podyx). By completing a booking, you agree to the following:

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed in the booking system. All prices are in USD and do not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Minimum Session Length: Minimum booking lengths apply per studio and package. Current minimums are listed in the booking system and on our Booking & Pricing page.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a booking confirmation via email. Please review it carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.
  • Capacity: You agree not to exceed the stated guest capacity for your chosen studio. The Label Set allows up to 6 guests. The Executive Set and Creator Set allow up to 4 guests each. Violations may result in termination of the session without refund.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  • Cancellations with 48+ hours notice: A full credit is issued toward a future session. No cash refunds are provided.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of session start: The session fee is non-refundable. No credit will be issued.
  • No-shows: Sessions not attended without prior notice are forfeited in full. No refund or credit will be issued.
  • Rescheduling: Sessions may be rescheduled one time with 72+ hours notice at no charge. Rescheduling with less than 72 hours notice is subject to a rescheduling fee. A session may only be rescheduled once — a second rescheduling request will be treated as a cancellation.
  • Link Label cancellations: In the rare event that we must cancel or reschedule your session due to equipment failure, facility issues, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a full credit or refund at your discretion.

4. Studio Rules & Client Conduct

To maintain a professional environment for all clients, you agree to the following studio rules:

  • Arrive on time. Your session begins at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals do not extend the session.
  • Treat all studio equipment, furniture, and facilities with care. You are responsible for any damage to studio property caused by you or your guests during your session.
  • No food inside the recording spaces. Beverages in sealed containers are permitted. Food is permitted in the green room only.
  • No illegal substances on the premises at any time.
  • No recording or photographing of staff without explicit consent.
  • Respect other clients and staff at all times. The Link Label reserves the right to terminate any session and bar any individual from future bookings for disruptive, abusive, or threatening behavior, without refund.
  • All guests accompanying you must be listed in your booking and must comply with these Terms.

5. Equipment & Security Deposit

Clients are financially responsible for any damage to or loss of studio equipment caused during their session. A security deposit of up to $500 may be held for certain bookings and will be released within 5 business days following the session, provided no damage or violations are found. The Link Label reserves the right to charge the card on file for any damages identified after your session concludes.

6. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create and record during your studio session. The Link Label makes no claim to ownership of your recorded audio or video content.

The Link Label may request permission to use short clips of your session for marketing and promotional purposes. This is always opt-in and requires your explicit written consent. We will never use your content without your permission.

You grant The Link Label a limited, non-exclusive license to use your name, likeness, and/or show name for the purpose of listing your show in our network directory on our website, unless you request otherwise in writing.

7. Third-Party Platforms

Our booking system is powered by Podyx. By creating a Podyx account or completing a booking through the Podyx platform, you agree to Podyx’s terms of service and privacy policy. The Link Label is not liable for any issues arising from third-party platforms, including technical failures, data breaches, or service interruptions on those platforms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Link Label, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Link Label, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or any content you record or distribute using our facilities.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us first at hello@thelinklabel.com. If we are unable to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
